Access Control

DEFAULT configuration authentication methods which you will use to identify yourself.

"Certificate Challenge/Response"

You authenticate yourself by signing a random challenge using a trusted certificate.

"Anonymous"

If you don't want or cannot identify yourself to the system then you can use the anonymous authentication which means that you can use some basic function which are not critical and so it is no problem to use them anonymously.

"External Dynamic"

Please use this authentication method to identify youself to the external authentication method. Your role will be determined automatically by the external program. user name (e. g. your email address) in the user name field The string you enter in the password field is used as the login role.

"User" to login as a normal user

"RA Operator" to login as Registration Officer

"CA Operator" to login as CA operator.

"Certificate via Webserver"

If your webserver is correctly configured, you can authenticate using your client certificate using TLS.

"Operator"

This is the normal operator authentication.

"User"

This is the normal user authentication.

"External Static"

Please use this authentication method to identify youself to the external authentication method. Your role is statically configured by an administrator.
